1. Raw material selection:
In order to ensure the quality of plastic products produced by ABS resin, we need to select resins specially used for ABS board extrusion molding. The editor recommends that under the premise of ensuring product quality and performance, choose cost-effective resins for production. It is recommended to choose resin raw materials produced by large manufacturers. For example, the products of large companies such as China Petrochemical Corporation.
2. Equipment condition:
The core equipment used in the equipment selection is the extruder. This extrusion equipment can refer to the polyethylene board extrusion molding equipment. However, ABS resin needs to dry and dehumidify the raw materials before production, so it is generally necessary to prepare a special dryer for drying and pretreatment of the raw materials.
3. Molding process
The most important thing in the molding process is the stable control of each equipment, as follows:
a.When the raw material is dried and pretreated, the raw material needs to be treated in a drying oven at 80~85℃for 2~4h before production. However, it should be noted that the resin after drying and dehumidification must be put into production immediately, and it should not be stored in the air for a long time, otherwise, the final quality of the plastic product will be affected after absorbing the moisture in the air.
b.The temperature control on the extruder equipment is suggested to be 150~170℃,160~180℃, and 170~190℃from the barrel feeding section to the homogenization section, respectively.
c.The temperature of the plate T-die on the extruder head:180~190℃in the middle and 195~210℃at both ends.
d.The temperature of the traction three rollers also needs to be controlled. The general temperature control range is: the lower roller is about 100°C, the middle roller is 80°C, and the upper roller is about 70°C.
e.The quality requirements of the board are basically the same as those of other plastic boards.
